Who are the Travelling Pharts

Deborah is an Australian who worked as a registered nurse in many different specialities and is now retired.
Deborah says, This rally will be one of the biggest challenges of my life. This will be a test of my determination, patience, resourcefulness and tolerance. Travelling to far and distant places, meeting people from different corners of the earth is a wonderful experience.
The reason for doing this crazy tough rally is to raise money for our charities! Raising money for Melanoma Institute Australia is very close to my heart, as my dear sister died of metastatic melanoma when she was only 54.
Alison Cole resides in the UK and is currently pursuing a life of travel.
Before leaving work to pursue her dreams Alison was the Contract manager at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst responsible for providing all the Hotel Services, Retail and Soft Facilities.
Alison says ‘I cannot wait for this big adventure to begin! To self-drive through such incredible countries, on our own, with no back up, will be a be a blast and a belly ache but so worth it. The sense of achievement,not just from a personal level but to raise 5K for Cool Earth will be fantastic’.
My name is Peter (Paul) Dowell.The most interesting thing about me is my wife Deborah who is probably the motivator behind my desire to travel.
I'm a retired IT person living close to the Australian Alps (yes we have mountains and snow in Australia).
At least one third of my life is spent travelling and the other two thirds is spent trying to save enough money to travel.
This adventure is by far the most intense travel that we have planned but I wouldn't miss it for the world.
What can be said about Ron, his a womaniser, loves a beer and can spin a yarn and we are hoping he can fix cars otherwise he is no use to us...hehehehe
